LOCATION
Mountain View Estates 2 is in Mountain Village, just below the Sundance ski run. The home is minutes from ski lifts, hiking trails, golf, restaurants, and the pedestrian Village Core, with easy access to walking and mountain biking trails in spring and summer.
SKI ACCESS
Mountain View Estates 2 sits just below the Sundance ski run, a short uphill walk from the home.
On foot: a staircase through the forest, followed by a short walk along the road, brings you to the point where you can clip into your skis on Sundance. Allow about 5 to 7 minutes in ski boots, depending on your pace. The distance is short, but the uphill climb at altitude can feel strenuous, especially in ski boots or while you acclimate.
Skiing home: intermediate and advanced skiers can ski from Sundance back down to the home when conditions allow. Beginners should plan to return on foot and take care on the stairs in ski boots.
THE HOME
The home has three levels connected by stairs.
Main level: the front door opens to the living room, dining area, and kitchen under vaulted ceilings, with large windows and a gas fireplace in the living room. The kitchen has a six-burner range, two dishwashers, and a breakfast bar with 4 stools, and the dining table seats 6.
